Friday, March 13, 2020, the Department of Languages, Arts, and Culture Management of Vocational School UGM held a potluck party to celebrate the 7th birthday of the Department. The event was held in the kitchen laboratory, attended by the head of the Department, secretary of the Department, unit managers, lecturers, and staff of DBSMB Vocational College. The event was opened by the Manager of Research and Community Service, Corporation, Alumni and Publication Unit of DBSMB, Ghifari Yuristiadhi, S.S., M.A. The speech was delivered by Waluyo, S. S., M. Hum., who was the first head of the Department of Languages, Arts, and Culture Management.
In his speech, Waluyo, S. S., M. Hum explained the history of the Department. After his speech, the event was continued by slicing the cake and blowing the candle, also a traditional snack feast, accompanied by lecturers’ acoustic performance. Dr. Endang Soelistiyowati, M. Pd., the head of the Department, also enlivened the event by singing the songs from the 90’s era.
