Game Literacy General Lecture with Gameloft Indonesia

On Friday, October 11th, 2019 at 09.00-11.00 A.M, took place in SV 225 Vocational College, UGM, was held game literacy general lecture with Gameloft Indonesia with M. Fahrurrozaq (studio lead programmer) and Hari Prasetyo (Quality Assurance) as the speaker. The lecture was attended by 85 students of English Study Program class of 2017 who took the “Media Literature” course aimed to enrich the students’ literature about the gaming industry. Both speakers told that game development was a process which needed solid teamwork because there were so many people involved, such as producer, artists, programmer, and quality assurance. Thus, in the game development process, creativity, innovation, and a high level of accuracy is needed. According to the committee of the general lecture, the activity was very interactive and interesting because the students were involved in a question and answer session (QnA), quiz. And game testing. Meanwhile, the students were excited with the general lecture because they got new knowledge about game development delivered by the speakers.
