On this occasion, the Dean was accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Vice Dean for Research, Community Service, Public Relations and International Affairs, Vocational College Public Relations Manager, The Head of DBSMB, and DBSMB Cooperation, Alumni and Research and Community Service Unit Manager signed three MoAs all at once. The three MoAs signed were related to the cooperation of Summer Course and Top Up Degree 3 + 1/3 + 1 + 1 for students, as well as a bridging program for the preparation of Ph.Ds for Vocational College lecturers.
“We didn’t want this MoA to only be a sleeping MoA,” said the Dean of the Vocational College in his speech. “In the near future, we will visit several campuses in Taiwan and Asia University will certainly be the top of our visit list. We will visit again, added the Dean.
Prof. Yinghuei Chen, Ph.D. in his speech said that finally after a long wait for the extension of the MoU with UGM which was made since 2004, it could finally be extended and could establish cooperation with UGM in a more concrete program. “We have many programs that can be used by the Vocational College, UGM. We hope that Vocational College UGM can make use of it. I believe this MoA will not be a sleeping MoA, “he continued.
After the signing of the MoA for the three collaborative programs, in the near future DBSMB will provide socialization to students and lecturers regarding programs that can be used to enrich the international experience of students and lecturers in the DBSMB particular and the Vocational School in general.
